Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj has once again attacked SPAK prosecutor Ols Dado, saying that he acted like the investigators of the dictatorship era in his case.
"I hope you are well! I am reading Ols Violina's long novel for myself because, as you know, I am a prisoner, but not a defendant, so the police have been investigating me like Enver's investigators used to with their eyes in the keyhole and then have charged me in Erjon Kasapi's slaughterhouse, for things I am learning in prison. So that you have an idea of the reliability of the mortar materials that the construction prosecutor has prepared, in an open conflict of interest, I am giving you a comic detail from my readings," Veliaj writes in a Facebook post.
"As I told you, Ols Violina made me the owner of Ajola's parents' house in Golem, since he found my son's toys in his grandmother's house. But, Violina's investigation is even deeper in his devilishness, because in the relentless fight against corruption, this two-faced person who investigates by day and builds by night, caught me with a house in hand from my cell phone, which turns out to have emitted a signal 87 times in the Kavajë, Lekaj, Golem, Harizaj, Mali i Robit, Gosë, Synej areas, during the months of April-May 2023. He kept this idiocy as if it were under his sleeve, because he didn't ask me when he was in front of me and asked me about his wife's dresses, but if he had asked me, he would have saved himself and SPAK such shame."
Veliaj explains that he was in these areas because during 2023, he led the Socialist Party's election campaign in Rrogozhina and Kavaja. "I was there twice in Rrogozhina, in my capacity as the Political Director of the Tirana District; and in 2024, in these same municipalities, I led the campaign for new memberships in the Socialist Party. It is enough to see this photo album from the campaign to understand with what evidence of the lost hair of his head this failed musician, undeclared builder and corrupt prosecutor has locked me in prison. Yes, my phone also gave a signal at that time to the Catholic Church on Kavaja Street, when I went to inspect the works with Father Zefi, but apparently, since the Church is opposite the palace of my construction prosecutor, he must have been scared by the proximity of my crime to its construction."
