The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) has published its work report for 2024, reporting that investigations were conducted against 629 people.
According to the data, 236 of them, or 37.5%, were investigated under the security measure "arrest with imprisonment", based on Article 238 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Meanwhile, 246 people, which make up 39.1% of the total, were investigated at large. The rest, 147 people, or 23.4%, were investigated under other security measures, writes A2 CNN.
In the detention report, according to the General Directorate of Prisons, the total number of detainees for 2024 is 2791 people. Of this total, 270 people, or 9.7%, are investigated by SPAK.
