A well-organized group operating in various areas of Tirana and distributing narcotics was busted by the police this Tuesday.

A total of 34 arrest warrants were issued, of which 27 were executed and 7 other people are still wanted. The narcotics were mainly distributed in different neighborhoods of the capital, in bars and near schools, writes A2.

To avoid being caught by the police, they operated individually and spread throughout the territory of Tirana. As distributors, the leaders of the group chose mainly young people starting from 19 years old.

It is learned that 7 of the people who were issued arrest warrants had previously been detained by the police, in previous operations for drug distribution. At the head of the group was 21-year-old Euxhenjo Manushi, the son of the famous musician, Adi Sybardhi.

For him, this is the second measure issued by the court, after Manushi was arrested on December 9 along with Klajdi Serjani, the nephew of Pajtim Serjani, a member of Emiljano Shullazi's gang. In the car they were traveling in, 1 kg and 50 grams of cocaine were found, the value of which if released on the market would reach 270 thousand euros.

The details of the operation were given at a press conference by the director of the Tirana Police, Elton Alushi: "The police have managed to document that this network of drug distributors in Tirana were selling various narcotics. In total, in two phases of the investigation, 3.4 kg of cocaine, 150 doses of heroin, 500 doses of ecstasy, 12 kg of cannabis, 26 mobile phones and 10 vehicles were seized".
It is learned that in some cases, to verify the distribution of narcotics, the police have acted in the field with infiltrated agents who have made stimulated purchases. (A2 Televizion)
