Shkodra has been rocked by murders again, but this time it is not gangs or revenge, but a suspected crime of passion. Shkodra police have found a couple in a vehicle with gunshot wounds to the head in the Mark Lula neighborhood of the city. From preliminary verifications, the police announce that Kolë Manaj, 34 years old, and Anila Prendushi, 44 years old, were found in the vehicle. The 34-year-old died as a result of head injuries, while the 44-year-old was taken to the Shkodra regional hospital in serious condition.
Police suspect that the victim, Kolë Manaj, may have shot his cohabitant in the head and then killed himself in the same way. The 44-year-old, who is fighting for her life, is a mother of three and had been divorced from her ex-husband for 6 months, cohabiting with the victim.
