SPAK has published the latest data regarding electoral crimes in our country. It is reported that 123 criminal cases have been administered, of which 35 have passed the investigation phase, writes A2.
22 are decisions not to initiate a criminal investigation, while 16 indictments have been sent for jurisdiction to the prosecutors' offices of the judicial districts.
Regarding the 35 proceedings, 20 were initiated based on referrals from the State Police, 8 were initiated mainly by SPAK. Only 3 came as a result of reports from various citizens. Two others were initiated from reports by political entities and the last two were referred by the Prosecutor's Offices of the Judicial Districts.
"29 proceedings were registered for the criminal offense of Article 328 (active corruption in elections); 4 proceedings were registered for both articles, respectively, under Article 328 with Article 328/b (active/passive corruption in elections); 1 proceeding was registered under Article 328/a (use of public office for political purposes); 1 proceeding was registered for Article 328/a (use of public office for political purposes and Article 248 (abuse of office)", states the SPAK announcement.
