An operation to crack down on criminal activities in the field of drug distribution and theft was carried out today in Durrës.
Through a statement, the Police announced that six citizens have been arrested, two of whom were wanted.
Sources for A2 CNN indicate that those arrested as part of the "Cleaning 2" operation are citizens Fabion Masha, Ahmet Isufi, Lulzim Rubjeka, Alin Gjuzi, Sentiljano Selami and Fation Xhezairi.
The Police also announced that as material evidence, the Police have found and seized 60 grams of suspected cannabis sativa narcotics, doses of cocaine, 1 electronic scale, 6 cell phones and 94 stolen chaise lounges.

Durrës/The operation codenamed "Cleaning 2" is being finalized, to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics and theft.
6 citizens who, in collaboration or individually, were engaged in the criminal activity of selling narcotics in doses and theft were arrested. 2 of these citizens were wanted for these criminal activities.
At the time of their arrest, 3 of these citizens were found to be in possession of cocaine and cannabis.
Criminal proceedings are being initiated against the owner of a store that had purchased the sun loungers that these citizens had stolen, and a 17-year-old accomplice in the theft of the sun loungers at a bar is being sought.
Doses of cocaine and cannabis, 1 electronic device, 6 cell phones and 94 stolen chaise lounges were seized.
The Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Durrës Police Commissariat and the "Eagle" Special Force, based on information provided by police intelligence, has organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Cleaning 2". As part of this operation, the following citizens were arrested and handcuffed:
FM, 27 years old, resident of Shijak, who was declared wanted after the Durrës Court had imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics", committed in collaboration and "Removal of a prisoner from the place of residence";
AI, 34 years old, resident of Shijak, wanted for the criminal offense of "Theft", committed in collaboration;
-LR, 46 years old, resident of Shijak, A. Gj., 38 years old, resident of Durrës, SS, 21 years old, resident of Manzë and F. Xh., 40 years old, resident of Durrës;
Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where proceedings were initiated for the citizen E. Sh., 36 years old, resident of Kavaja, and a 17-year-old citizen, resident of Durrës, was declared wanted.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that citizens FM and AI, in collaboration with citizens LR, A. Gj. and the 17-year-old, on February 15 and 18, stole beach umbrellas and sun loungers from a bar in the Youth Sector, and then sold them in the store of citizen E. Sh., in Kavaja.
During the physical and residential search of citizen FM, 46 grams of suspected cannabis sativa narcotic substance, several doses of this substance and 1 electronic scale were found and seized.
During the physical search, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sativa was found on citizen SS, which he possessed with the intention of selling near schools, while doses of cocaine and cannabis were found on citizen F. Xh., which he possessed with the intention of selling in the neighborhoods of Durrës.
The following material evidence was seized:
60 grams of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa and doses of this substance, doses of cocaine, 1 electronic cigarette, 6 cell phones and 94 stolen chaise lounges.
The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further action. (A2 Televizion)
