40-year-old man arrested for attempting to rape a girl in Lushnje

Police in Lushnja have arrested a 40-year-old man, who is accused of attempting to have sexual intercourse with a 35-year-old woman. According to police, the serious incident occurred in the victim's apartment.

"As a result of searches based on information obtained through intelligence, with the objective of capturing the wanted citizens, the services of the Lushnja Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Saranda Police Commissariat, located and detained the following citizens: RC, 40 years old, wanted for the criminal offense of "Forced sexual intercourse with adults", remaining at large, as it is suspected that on 06.07.2025, he attempted to have forcible sexual intercourse with a 35-year-old woman", the police announced.
