Police have arrested a 30-year-old man in Durres after he is accused of attempting to murder a person.
It is learned that Klenis Kazazaj has been arrested, who is suspected of having attempted to kill citizen OB, 34 years old, a resident of Fier, with a firearm after a momentary conflict in 2023 in Fier, who was injured.
"The police operation codenamed "Distance" is being finalized, based on information provided by police intelligence on the location of the wanted citizens."
He attempted to shoot a citizen, after a brief conflict, the 30-year-old was caught and put in handcuffs.
Specialists of the Operational Investigation Support Section of the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the services of the Plazh Police Station, based on information provided by police intelligence regarding the location of a wanted citizen, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Distance".
During this operation, citizen KK, 30 years old, resident of Durrës, was located in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, and arrested.
This citizen was declared wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Fier, with the decision dated 04.08.2023, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Intentional Murder", attempted, and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
This citizen is suspected of having attempted to kill with a firearm the citizen OB, 34 years old, resident of Fier, on 30.07.2023, in the “Sheq i madh” neighborhood, Fier, after a momentary conflict for weak motives. He was injured. Other procedural actions for this citizen will be carried out by the Fier Police Department. The procedural materials were passed on to the Prosecution Office for further actions,” the police announced.
