Tirana, explosives are placed at a bar on "Durrës Street"

A quantity of explosives has been placed at a bar on "Durrës Street" in the capital.

According to police, there were no injuries, but only material damage.

The owner of the bar, Arbër Sinani, has stated to the police that he has no idea who the perpetrators might be who placed the amount of TNT in his bar.

According to him, he has no conflicts with other people. He does not have a criminal record in Albania, writes A2.

Sinan has been living in Germany for some time, where it is suspected that he may have been involved in illegal activities and clashes with other people over drugs may have been the motive for planting the explosives.

Two cameras at the bar do not have DVRs, making it difficult for investigators to identify the suspects. Meanwhile, cameras from other businesses have been seized to assist the investigation team.

Police announcement:

At around 03:45, on Durrës Street, in the bar owned by citizen AS, it is suspected that a small amount of explosive material, placed near the entrance door of the bar, exploded.

As a result, only material damage was caused. No people were injured.

The investigation team is continuing its work to identify and capture the perpetrator(s), as well as to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident. (A2 Televizion)
