The Vlora Border Police Services, in cooperation with the Maritime Police Unit, have intervened on Radhima beach, following a complaint on social networks, through video footage, that a floating vehicle had violated the water safety perimeter for vacationers, putting their lives at risk.
After locating and blocking the vessel that appeared in the published footage, they punished the driver of this vessel, a GB citizen, with an administrative fine of 100,000 lek, for violating Article 24/1/c "Development of activities outside restricted areas", of Law No. 43/2020.
The Border Police appeals to all users of watercraft to strictly respect the water safety perimeter for vacationers, to implement the rules for the use of watercraft and to respect the areas designated for navigation with these vehicles.
It also invites citizens to report any case of violation of the security perimeter and the irregular use of watercraft to the number 112, guaranteeing an immediate response.
