The Court of First Instance in Vlora has decided for the 14-year-old to change the security measure from prison arrest to mandatory appearance.

The defense lawyer of the 14-year-old, Xhoana Hyka, clarified that the court made this decision on the basis of the juvenile law, where the 14-year-old is considered too young to bear criminal responsibility.

Bardhosh Tozaj, the 14-year-old's father, after the end of the court session, thanks the institutions for the cooperation that, according to him, prevented a criminal event.

Tozaj called on parents to be careful and when they suspect something in their children to report it. The court session was held in the presence of the minor and the psychologist.

At the hearing, the 14-year-old told the incident that he found the pistol in an abandoned building and kept it after he and some friends made a video on the mountain for TikTok.
