Yesterday, police arrested Skerdi Sina, a passenger in Joni Sadiku's car, which collided with several cars in the former Blloku area, in Tirana.
Sadiku managed to immediately leave the scene, while Skerdi Sina was arrested. Sina, as seen in the footage released by the police, tried to escape the police, running away through narrow alleys, but was eventually handcuffed.

Following the information provided yesterday afternoon, regarding the arrest of citizen SS, we inform that following the actions, regarding this citizen, the specialists for the Investigation of Serious Crimes:
-they executed the Court's decision to sentence him to 4 months in prison for serious injury, exceeding the limits of necessary defense;
-executed the Prosecutor's Office order to detain this citizen for the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Unauthorized Possession and Production of Weapons, Explosive Weapons and Ammunition".
Further, following the investigative actions regarding yesterday's case, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance Cannabis Sativa was found in the seized vehicle, and was seized as material evidence.
Checks continue for the driver of the vehicle in which citizen SS was traveling, identified by the Police immediately after the incident.
