The First Instance Court of the Fier Judicial District has ordered a "prison arrest" for the 36-year-old suspected of abusing his 12-year-old minor daughter. He arrived at the court premises at around 10:00, with his head bowed, while he gave his testimony before the panel composed of Prosecutor Genci Mane, Judge Nertil Dushku and a lawyer, writes A2 CNN.
In his testimony to the police, the 36-year-old claimed that he had only committed such a shameful act once, while admitting to abusing the minor girl. In front of the jury, the 36-year-old stood with his head down the entire time and admitted the abuse. Forensic expertise has proven that he had sex with the girl several times.
In her statement to the media, the minor's mother also claimed that the abuse was systematic and demanded the maximum sentence for her husband. She also claimed that she was not aware of it earlier and learned everything after the girl reported it to the police. (A2 Televizion)
