Some new details have emerged from the murder of 20-year-old Pavlin Preka a day ago in the village of Guci e Re, Shkodra.
The local police of Shkodra have so far escorted nearly 20 people, who are neighbors, citizens who may have knowledge of the victim or others who are known to be problematic in the area. A2 CNN learns that all have been questioned, while so far there is no suspect in the incident.
It is learned that the young man lived between Dukagjini and Gucia with his father and brother as they deal with cattle there. The victim had been home for 4 days and the motives for this murder are still unclear as there is still no investigation. The family members have stated that they have no idea who the perpetrator could be because they were not aware of any conflict, reports A2 CNN.
Meanwhile, it is learned that the victim's body was shot 6 times with a pistol. The investigation team has seized the cartridges, which were located next to each other. The officers suspect that the 20-year-old was shot from close range in the yard of his house where the body was found.
The 20-year-old's uncle, citizen Nikollë Preka, was the person who found out that his nephew had been killed. The victim lived alone at home while eating with his uncle's family, who was very close to him. A2 CNN learns that after calling him several times to eat lunch, the young man did not answer and his uncle went to the apartment, thinking that he was asleep. At that moment, he found him lying in the yard, having died from the bullets he had taken. The victim's uncle immediately called the police, and officers began investigating.
Meanwhile, neighbors have stated that they did not hear any gunshots, which leads to the suspicion that the murder may have been committed with a pistol with a silencer. The police suspect that in that area without security cameras, the perpetrator came on foot and left on foot through the fields, while he had many opportunities to leave without leaving a trace. The investigation team continues to work to fully unravel this serious incident. (A2 Televizion)
