Elbasan police have arrested a 34-year-old man wanted for fraud with serious consequences. He is suspected of having taken around 40,500 euros from the owner of a cattle farm to mediate in the purchase of cattle from several other citizens, but after receiving the amount of euros, he fled.
"Following the work to capture the citizens declared wanted, as well as as a result of the coordination of work and the exchange of information between police structures, specialists from the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section of the Elbasan Police Department, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "The Mediator", have captured and detained citizen ND, 34 years old. This citizen was declared wanted after allegedly receiving around 40,500 euros from a 43-year-old, owner of a cattle farm, to mediate in the purchase of cattle from several other citizens, with this amount, on behalf of the 43-year-old. The 34-year-old did not mediate according to the agreement, but after receiving the amount of euros, he left", the Police announced.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action. (A2 Televizion)
