Murder of Kristjan Marku, 4 members of the Reçi tribe are accompanied, family members withdraw the body from Vlora

After the murder of Kristjan Marku in Vlora, the police of this region are cooperating with those of Lezha to solve the assassination.

On Monday evening, police went to several homes in Rrëshen to conduct searches. According to sources, some of the homes searched belonged to the Reçi tribe, with whom the Marku tribe ( also known as Bardhi ) has been at enmity for years.

A2 CNN learns that four members of the Reçi tribe have been taken to the police for questioning and during their statements they have denied any connection to the murder of the young man in Vlora.

After questioning, the suspects were released, while investigators suspect that the execution of the 30-year-old man occurred due to enmity.

According to the investigation team, the victim was hit by 3 bullets out of 11 shell casings found at the scene, and one of them proved fatal.

Due to the importance of the event, a forensic doctor arrived in Vlora from the capital to conduct an expert examination. Around morning, the family members who arrived pulled the victim's body away, with over 15 cars accompanying the cortege.

Kristjan Marku is a person with a criminal record. He was arrested for attempted murder in 2023. At that time, he attempted to kill Kastriot Reçi's nephew, Sajmir Reçi.
