The apartment of Ervis Lam, known for his escape from the Drenova prison, was among the first to be searched by police in connection with the murder of 48-year-old Lulzim Visha in Zall Mner, Kamza, on Friday morning, A2 CNN reports. According to information, a pistol-type weapon with a silencer was found in his apartment. Lami was not at home at the time of the searches, but the door was opened by a family member.
According to sources, he has two houses, one of which was a wooden house, inside which officers saw holes in the walls caused by firearms. It is suspected that these holes may have been made to test different weapons. Once found by the police, Lami is expected to be questioned about the aggravated murder as a person who may have knowledge.
Ervis Lami was an accomplice in the escape of 7 convicts from Drenova prison on November 23, 2013, including Admir Tafili. At the time, Ervis Lami had stated that the escape plan was made by him and Admir Tafili, and that he had even brought the weapons into the prison himself, taking responsibility for the entire scheme.
While continuing to search for Ervis Lamin, police arrested Eduart Lamin on Saturday morning, the son of Ervis' uncle. The investigation team suspects that Lulzim Visha had previous conflicts with them, considering him as a possible lead in the investigation. According to police data, the conflict was over land.
Some time ago, sources indicate that there was a fight between the victim and some members of the Lami family, which is suspected to have been over property. Currently, this is the main lead of the police investigation. (A2 Televizion)
