New details have emerged from the murder of Renato Hoxhaj, which occurred a few days ago in Vlora. According to information, Renato Hoxhaj is suspected of having been an informant for criminal groups, while investigations suggest that his murder was ordered from Dubai.
According to sources for A2 CNN, the authorities have identified a Romanian citizen as the suspected perpetrator of the crime. The nationality is still not 100% confirmed, as the Vlora police remain reserved, but there are suspicions that he may have been Greek. This citizen is suspected of having left Albanian territory through the Qafë Botës border crossing. Currently, he is wanted by the police, while only Eris Mehmetaj, who is suspected of having helped the perpetrator to leave, has been arrested.
Sources from the investigation team indicate that two pistols were used in the crime. He is suspected of being shot once in the stomach with one pistol and missing a shell casing from it, then being shot twice in the head with the other pistol.
It is also learned that the Romanian citizen is a former criminal convict, but this remains unconfirmed. The car used in the assassination was purchased by Eris Mehmetaj, who is suspected of being an accomplice in the murder. The police are continuing their investigations to identify and arrest all those involved in the incident. (A2 Televizion)
