The State Police arrested four people who had set up two warehouses in the village of Brar, where they printed counterfeit logos on smuggled clothing. In addition to the four arrested, two others have been declared wanted, one of them a Turkish citizen, while four employees have been processed at large, writes A2 CNN.
Large quantities of clothing, dozens of sewing, printing or stamping machines, logos of well-known international brands, 6 documents of a Turkish citizen, a sum of money, a computer unit, 1 mobile phone, as well as other items/documents that will serve the investigation, were seized.
During the operation: During the operation “Fake Star 5”: citizen Luan Haka was arrested and his son, citizen Lindion Haka, co-administrators of one of the warehouses, was declared wanted; citizens Ali Bushati and Xhuljo Lecaj, co-administrators of the other warehouse, were arrested; citizen Arjan Hida, a property lessor, was arrested; Turkish citizen Ozkan Sulun, who coordinated the implementation of these criminal activities, was declared wanted. The materials were also referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where proceedings were initiated at large, for citizens R. Gj., ZH, Sh. M. and AH, employees of these warehouses.
As a result of the immediate intervention, it was found that the 2 warehouses were equipped with machine lines for sewing, printing and stamping with fake logos, of well-known international brands, of suspected smuggled clothing and accessories.
Work is underway to locate and capture 2 wanted citizens.
The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecution Office, for further action, for the criminal offenses of “Violation of industrial property rights”, “Illegal employment”, “Smuggling of other goods”, “Trading and transporting contraband goods”, “Storage or deposit of contraband goods”, “Hiding income”, “Forgery of seals, stamps or forms” and “Failure to report a crime”.
