Tirana police have discovered an environment adapted for the forgery of foreign language protection certificates that was operating in the capital.
As part of the operation codenamed "Finish", Martin Pacani, Olgert Jaupaj and Ervin Yzeiraj were arrested, while 35 forged certificates, sums of money in euros and lek, 4 mobile phones and 1 computer unit were seized.
"As a result of this operation, the following citizens were detained: MP, 62 years old, OJ, 43 years old and EY, 42 years old. Also, a state proceeding was initiated for citizen BN, 24 years old, and citizen EA, 34 years old, was declared wanted. From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, forged foreign language protection certificates and, for a payment ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 new lek, provided them to various citizens, with the aim of using them in educational institutions. During the search in the environment adapted for this illegal activity, which was used by citizen MP, the Police services found and seized as material evidence: 35 forged certificates, 1,200 euros, a sum of lek, 4 mobile phones and a computer unit where the false certificates were prepared", the police announced.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution Office for the criminal offenses of "Forgery of Documents" and "Hiding Income". (A2 Televizion)
