Martin Can's parents arrive at the Tirana Court for the preliminary hearing against the accused for the murder of their 14-year-old son. In this trial, the Tirana Prosecution Office is requesting the transfer to trial of the minor M. Përlleshaj on the charge of "murder under qualifying circumstances" against the minor, writes A2 CNN.
Mario Përlleshi, the minor who took the life of his peer Martin Cani on November 18 of last year, near the "Fan Noli" school in the capital, will stand trial as charged with "murder under qualifying circumstances".
Also, the capital's Prosecutor's Office has decided to separate the acts of this proceeding, as far as those related to the criminal offense of "Abuse of Office", provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code, regarding the actions or inactions of the school staff.
These acts have been registered in another proceeding for which investigations continue as, according to the prosecution, it is necessary to conduct other investigative actions, in order to individualize guilt and specific criminal responsibilities.
The serious incident, in which 14-year-old Martin Cani was stabbed and his friend Luis Meçe was injured, was the result of arguments that had started between minors on the TikTok platform. (A2 Televizion)
