For eight decades, the National Theater has inspired art and formed entire generations of actors, directors, playwrights, set designers, and creators.
Among the hundreds of performances that have left their mark on the public's memory, the 80th anniversary celebration commemorated not only the actors who are no longer with us, but also Topaz, the first work performed on the Albanian theatrical stage.
The only thing that was not commemorated was the old institution building, which seems to have been dusted with oblivion.
Even in the lobby of the National Theater, images from performances that remain as assets of the theater's fund have opened a window to some of the archives that recount the 80-year artistic life of this institution. (A2 Televizion)
