The State, the Author of Crimes, the Story of the Persecution of the Merlika Family in a New Publication

The story of a new publication begins the day when his grandmother entrusts Imer Merlikë to search for the remains of his uncle and grandfather.

That nephew, from the family of former Prime Minister Mustafa Merlika Kruja, fulfills this mission. After discovering the remains, he writes history to leave it as a testimony of what happened to one of the largest families in Kruja.

Persecution in this work is described not only as an event, but also with specific names of those who took part in these crimes during the dictatorship.

Historians, researchers, and people of Albanian letters came together in this presentation of the book, which recounts not only the past through the revolt, but also the importance of discovering truths that are still dusty in the files of the former state security. (A2 Televizion)
