A2 CNN learns that Julinda Karteri has been appointed acting mayor of Tepelena Municipality. She will replace Tërmet Peçi, a day after his resignation.
The Mayor of Tepelena, Tërmet Peçi, resigned from his post a day ago. He confirmed the decision himself, in a statement to A2 CNN.
Peçi, who has held the position of first citizen of Tepelena since 2011, will also be the SP candidate for deputy in the May 11 elections.
On Tuesday, the mayor of Mat, Agron Malaj, resigned from his post, as he will run for the SP in Debar.
Lists for parliamentary candidates must be submitted to the CEC on Wednesday before midnight. (A2 Televizion)
