The Macedonian Alliance for European Integration has decided to withdraw from the opposition coalition "DP- Alliance for Greater Albania" in the race for the May 11 elections.
After sending a request to the CEC to leave the coalition, the leader of this party, Vasil Sterjovski, revealed the reasons that led him to this decision.
He stated that the DP had not given him any opportunity to run in the Korça region, as well as in other areas, so he requested to leave this political grouping.
"We failed in negotiations. I asked for a place on the open list of Korça, but they refused. They didn't give us places in other districts either. So coalition, but they didn't give us any place on the list," said Sterjovski.
The possibilities of the Macedonian Alliance for Integration to join another coalition under the current conditions are impossible due to the exceeding of the registration deadline with the CEC, and the only option is to compete on the lists of other registered entities. (A2 Televizion)
