Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared on social networks images from Gjirokastra, which today marks the 20th anniversary of its inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List, writes A2.
In a Facebook post, Rama writes: "GOOD MORNING and from Gjirokastra, which celebrates its 20th anniversary as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and eternally a treasure of the soul, I wish you a good day."
Gjirokastra was included in the UNESCO list in 2005 for its unique architectural, historical and cultural values, becoming one of the most important cities for cultural heritage in Albania.
