Illegal constructions, Rama: Every building will be razed, it is not an action, but a reform

From Thethi to illegal constructions in the South and throughout Albania, Prime Minister Edi Rama claimed that every building will be razed. During the meeting with elected deputies and candidates for the May 11 elections in Tirana, Rama said that this is not an action but a reform that will continue for a long time. He again asked for commitment from all of his people, where the focus will now also be on food security, claiming that no one will sell dairy products without a receipt.

"There is another theory that a priest surprisingly brought up yesterday that someone brought to me and I was surprised that a man of God had entered this story talking about seduction through lies, as if we seduced them, lied to them and then broke their trust. We have not broken anyone's trust. Our promise was "we will legalize the property of our grandparents". Our promise was not and we have never done this at any level and none of our representatives in any corner of Albania "give us your vote and build without permission".

We will continue to support all those people who have properties in the mountains, on the condition that they contact the institutions and obtain the relevant permit. We have even created the Mountain Package to make it even easier for them.

We have undertaken to complete the legalization process within 2028, which includes the digitization of all maps, etc., etc. But let's not forget that anyone who wants to legalize anything in violation of the law and after the deadlines set by the law should do so.

Any type of building erected in violation of public space, public infrastructure, infrastructure projects, protected areas, critical infrastructure will be razed. There will be no more tolerance, no more dialogue, no more prohibition in this process.

There must be increased pressure on all those who build and at the same time on all attempts to build without permission and to occupy the territory. It will not be easy, but it will be unstoppable, constant and will continue as long as it lasts,

We are working for days and very quickly, perhaps due to the emergency, for this work of drinking water that will pass a little later, we will have to make it to the normative act and we will put those 83 votes at the service of all citizens who seek a final breakthrough from European Albania in their hearts and minds, if not in their daily lives, to Albania, a member of the European Union.

We are working with the Ministry of Health on the issue of medical drugs to supply the entire system, both public and private, with drugs, and again with the state as a party, as a protagonist.
