The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that the next administration of the President-elect, Donald Trump, will lobby to remove the 'no women' imposed by DASH.
Berisha made his comments on the show 'Debate' with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he said that he did not lobby the administration of President Joe Biden, because he had chosen the judicial path with the Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken.
He added that he is convinced that the State Department has zero facts against him in the process of declaring him non grata.
"With this administration, my decision was not to lobby. I sued the Secretary of State for defamation and invited him to come to the courtroom and prove what he said. I will lobby with the new administration.
I would lobby even if Trump wasn't President, as long as he wasn't this minister. Even in the previous administration, I knew most of them, I had lunch with them. I am 100% convinced that there is zero evidence against me.
I say this, I say it from those who have administered the non grata files in DASH. Now I will lobby, or follow the procedures, because I have the roads open. So Blinken I chose the court. It was not appropriate for me to go to court and lobby," said Berisha. (A2 Televizion)
