The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has stated that there is a fierce battle between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.
Berisha made his comments on the show 'Debate' with journalist Alba Alishani on A2 CNN, where he said that Veliaj threatens Rama with Olsi Rama's file on Xibraka, which according to the former prime minister, is in the hands of Alban Dabulla.
The former Chief of the Executive also added that Veliaj was received in Washington by the former Democratic candidate for President, Kamala Harris, while Rama, according to him, tried, but could not make a meeting with her.
"Alban Dabulla, who you have filmed at the door, has the complete file of Xibraka. There is every document that OIsi Rama was one of the main exponents of drug trafficking.
