The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, commented on some news published in various media outlets regarding the dismissal of the former US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim.
"I have no sure news, except for the news that has been published, whether she has been dismissed or not. What I am saying is that in my statements she was a "corrupt diplomat" and I have invited the FBI, I have invited Congress to investigate her corruption and the information that I have, I am ready to make available to them," Berisha said in a press conference, writes A2 CNN.
After leaving Albania, Kim served as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. Her name no longer appears on the list published on the State Department's website for this office, but there has been no official announcement of her departure from the post. (A2 Televizion)
