Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has expressed that he has received numerous messages of support for the Democratic Party and its victory in the upcoming elections, at the conference of European People's Parties.
During his speech at a media conference, Berisha said that there is a change, a dramatic positive development in the DP's relations with the EPP and sister parties, writes A2 CNN.
He also added that his speech was followed with great interest at the EPP conference, as according to him, Europe has seen all types of dictatorships over the centuries, except for the narco-dictatorship.

In Podgorica, under the leadership of the President of the European People's Party, Mr. Manfred Weber, the EPP regional conference was held with a broad pan-European participation.
In this conference, dedicated to the Western Balkans, the DP actively participated.
At the conference's opening panel, I presented Albania's narco-dictatorship in all its ugliness as the first regime installed in Europe in centuries.
I informed the EPP that the man who walks around in white sneakers at international summits and presents himself as a liberal athlete or painter, despite failing in both aspects, inside Albania is a man who does not respect any law, any rule, nor the Constitution, nor decisions of the Constitution, nothing.
He is a narco-dictator of his own kind, who continues and applies political terror.
It applies the transformation of the elections into a farce, thus constituting a great danger for Albania, the region and Europe.
The speech was followed with great interest, of course I emphasize once again that Europe has seen all types of dictatorships over the centuries, except for the narco-dictatorship.
I guarantee Albanians that this important effort that was made yesterday has begun to have a great and real resonance and will continue until all those who transformed Albania from a state of law into a narco-state are held legally accountable.
During my stay in Podgorica, I had the opportunity to talk with the president of the EPP, Weber, other leaders of this party, local hosts and participants in this conference.
I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to President Weber for the invitation and the interest and care he shows for the DP in Albania and developments in Albania.
You are witnesses, there are three international resolutions, which were voted on by the EPP, IDU and CDI.
So, there is a change, there is a dramatic positive development in the DP's relations with the EPP and sister parties.
There I met and had a conversation with the vice president of Forza Italia, Debora Bergamini, an old friend who was Silvio Berlusconi's first assistant.
There were also representatives of other parties with whom we talked about cooperation between our political forces.
