In "Off the Record" with Andrea Dangli, on A2 CNN, new details were revealed about Sali Berisha's non-grata from America, by the head of the DP National Council, Edi Paloka.
Regarding the latest DASH report, where the opposition leader still appeared unappreciated, Paloka said that it was compiled by the previous administration, led by the Biden-Blinken duo.
"It is true that there is a report by the US State Department, the one from the previous administration. This report is from the previous administration, it is not a report by the Trump administration. But even that report from that administration labels Rama's government as a narco-state. In other reports, the US State Department called the government the most corrupt, and then Blinken came along, saying, this is the greatest leader. This was absurd. This case that is mentioned is a report from the previous administration. Berisha is a non-grateful person, it's not like they mentioned something that wasn't known. They have included a fact that is known, Berisha's non-grateful person has not yet been removed," Paloka said on "Off the Record" with Andrea Dangli, on A2 CNN.
But according to the Democratic MP, Berisha's disapproval " will be lifted very soon ."
According to him, the new Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, is the one who proved when he was part of the Senate that the Biden administration used the non-grata rating to put behind bars and politically damage the leader of the center-right in Europe.
Paloka said that with his arrival in office as successor to Antony Blinken, de jure the non-grata measures for Berisha have also been lifted and that despite the bureaucracy, the Trump administration has openly expressed support for the DP.
" Marco Rubio is now the Secretary of State. He replaced Blinken. Rubio was the senator who raised the issue in the US Senate and even filed documents accusing the Biden-Blinken administration of using non-grata politically to hit center-right leaders in Europe. He is the same one who has replaced Blinken today. The Vice President came to Germany and made it clear that it will no longer happen that center-right opposition leaders are hit, imprisoned and arrested to seize power. There are two positions that mean that de jure Berisha's non-grata no longer exists. De facto, these bureaucracies can happen quickly. That non-grata no longer has any value. The report is something else and it is from the previous administration. The position of this administration was stated and made clear by LaCivita there alongside Berisha ," Paloka declared on "Off the Record" with Andrea Dangli, on A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
