Albania-Kosovo-Croatia military alliance, Serbia gets nervous, Vëngu: Any

The agreement signed in Tirana on Tuesday, March 18, between Albania, Kosovo and Croatia on cooperation in the field of defense and military interaction between the three countries, which worried official Belgrade, is being clarified. This agreement contained 4 main objectives that must be fulfilled by the respective countries, among which the main one was support for Kosovo to obtain its status in NATO.

"Albania-Kosovo-Croatia Military Alliance "Promoting defense capabilities and cooperation for the relevant industry. Increasing interoperability through education, training and exercises. Countering hybrid threats and increasing resilience. Supporting Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic perspective by providing support for its status in NATO's Partnership for Peace", the joint statement states.

Defense Minister Pirro Vengu has described Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić's statement calling the agreement between the three countries "the opening of an arms race" as a victimizing narrative.

"Serbia, having pursued an empty-chair policy in regional initiatives for two years, has unilaterally suspended itself from the possibility of initiating or participating in multilateral consultations. This suspension, which is up to Serbia to set aside, renders useless any victimization narrative coming from the Serbian government ," said Defense Minister Pirro Vengu.

At the end of the reaction, Vengu claims that Albania has no precedents of secret agreements or treaties to the detriment of its neighbors, as other countries have had. (A2 Televizion)
