The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana in the May 11 elections, Belind Këlliçi, gave an answer on "Çdo kënt" with Merita Haklaj to the question of whether he regretted the list of the largest district in the country.
Këlliçi said that the perfect list does not exist in politics, but explained that the DP's list for Tirana was influenced by the circumstances in which we found ourselves.
"There is no perfect list and there never will be. In no political force can there be a perfect list, because of egos, ambitions, political careers, because of current situations, circumstances that may condition you to have a certain decision-making. So don't ever expect a perfect list, there will not be and there never has been in any political force," said Këlliçi on "Çdo kënt" with Merita Haklaj, on A2 CNN.
The newly elected Democratic MP also admitted that there was an opportunity to do better with the Tirana candidates, when faced with the fact that it appeared in the eyes of the public as an old and worn-out list.
"That there could be room to work more, to be more open, to have different positions, this is definitely obvious and without question this is acceptable," Këlliçi admitted on "Çdo kënt" with Merita Haklaj, on A2 CNN.
He further mentioned 4 names, including himself, who will enter Parliament in September and constitute a new generation of politicians who emerged from the contested Tirana list.
"With great respect to all those who criticize and demand more from the opposition, I do not think that Besart Xhaferri is old in politics, the leader of the FRPD. I do not believe that Klevis Balliu is old, I do not believe that Belindi himself, I am old. I do not believe that Erisa Xhixho, even though she is an ally, is old. Of course, there were contributors, historical resisters of the DP on that list, but there were also new people on the list. And I read you four names, out of 12, which is 1/3 of the list. Let's stick to the essence, the list will undoubtedly be subject to comment. Every list will be subject to comment and this will always be the case," declared Këlliçi on "Çdo kënt" with Merita Haklaj, on A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
