"We will enter these elections with open lists, beyond the rules imposed by Sali Berisha and Edi Rama," he said.
Further, Alibeaj explained how they will implement the 100% open list. "It's very simple, with resignation. Those who will be on the closed list will resign from the candidacy and the list will be emptied and any votes that will be received by the fighters of the open list will be distributed. Whoever wins one more vote, he gets the mandate.
This is an equal competition between all candidates. There are two lists that are being filed with the CEC. On March 12, we will file both lists. On March 13, those on the closed list will submit their resignations and only these 37 will remain who will run, campaign and receive votes. Whoever is capable, let them receive more votes.
