Sali Berisha said that the Democratic Party has had continuous contact with the American embassy in recent weeks, where they spoke exclusively about the May 11 elections.
"The embassy's contacts with the opposition have been non-stop, and on the topic of elections. They have an absolute interest in a regular electoral process and they have conveyed this in a meeting with our representatives," Berisha said in Debate by Alba Alishani on A2 CNN.
Asked about the latest message published by the embassy's social media account, Berisha replied: "He published a statement by Vice President JD Vance, where he says "don't be afraid of the vote", as Edi Rama has." (A2 Televizion)
