Prime Minister Edi Rama has convened the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, following the arrest of Mayor Erion Veliaj on the orders of SPAK.
According to sources for A2 CNN, it is reported that at the group meeting, some of the socialists seemed as if they had just been informed about the news and almost everyone remained silent about the event.
It is also reported that the only one from the Socialists who reacted to the arrest of the mayor of Tirana was Toni Gogu, who said that Veliaj was and remains a good friend of his.
We recall that Veliaj was arrested by order of SPAK on 4 charges and the security measure 'arrest with imprisonment' was imposed on him, until the moment he appears before the GJKKO to be familiarized with the security measure. (A2 Televizion)
