The 'Albania Becomes' movement has reacted after an audio was released today claiming that a sympathizer of Adriatik Lapaj had threatened the leader of 'Nisma Thurje', Endri Shabani, and his uncle.
Through an official response, the 'Albania Becomes' Movement has said that it distances itself from offensive, threatening or violent language, writes A2 CNN.
The announcement also requested that the pre-election agreement between the two political entities be respected, regarding the withdrawal of candidates from the closed list from the race.
The official reaction of the 'Albania Becomes' Movement ends with the claim that they will not abandon the path they have set.
???????????????????????? ????????????????????????? – ????????????????????????????????????? “????
In light of recent events and content published online, we would like to clarify that we do not represent or support any form of offensive, threatening, or violent language that conflicts with our values.
We call on all our followers, sympathizers, activists, and members engaged with us to reject the language of violence at all times, regardless of the emotional burden of any injustice.
But, we want to be equally clear about another truth:
In this story, the only victims are the 64,000 citizens who voted for us and the hundreds of our activists who gave everything in this battle.
We sincerely regret the situation created regarding the mandate issue and assure you that we are not shirking our responsibility, but are making every honest effort not to disappoint you and to maintain the trust you have placed in us.
Because for us, fair competition and meritocracy are the two pillars on which “Albania is Made” was built. They were the only weapons we had against a rotten system. It was these two principles that inspired 64,000 citizens to support us selflessly.
That is why they are being targeted today, with precise aim, both by the system's usual snipers and by those who serve as their spokespeople.
If our mistake is reaching out for cooperation, you can judge us! We are simply asking that the pre-election agreement be implemented as we presented it to the citizens during the campaign. It is precisely that point that proves our approach to the race.
We emphasize that we will not give up on the belief that fair competition is the only way to restore faith in democracy. Beyond any blackmail and deceit, inside and outside the system, we will stand.
We are waiting for reflection and a meeting for solutions from the other side in the Coalition. We consider this a moment that must be overcome as a duty to our voters. We are waiting for Mr. Shabani and Mr. Soko to address it with prudence and continue working on the local elections.
Because we will not abandon the path we have started! (A2 Televizion)
