Adriatik Lapaj has sent a letter to the Central Election Commission requesting that Ilirjan Celibashi respect the resignations of the candidates on the closed list.
The document filed this Thursday highlights that the resignation was made from the candidacy and as such, the names on the closed list have lost the right to benefit from the mandate, writes A2 CNN.
The letter concludes with the request that the mandate be passed to Adriatik Lapaj, as the first ranked candidate with the highest number of votes on the open list of the 'Shqipëria Bëhet' coalition.
We recall that in recent days a 'war' of distance has begun between Lapaj and Endri Shabani, after the latter's uncle, listed on the closed list, has requested the deputy's mandate, claiming that he had not previously signed his resignation. (A2 Televizion)
