In a meeting with residents of Unit 5 in Tirana, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha called on the Diaspora to refuse to photograph the vote and vote for the Democratic Party to separate themselves from the evil that is emptying Albania.
"I call on you, all brothers in the diaspora, who are starting to vote, to vote for change, to vote this year, which is their year to part with this great evil, which is emptying and desolating Albania. I call on you, refuse and do not take any photos of your vote, because you must be good citizens of the countries where you live. And in the countries where you live, photographing your vote is punishable by law. Therefore, do not comply with the code and demand of these mafiosi who want to control your will, remain free people, dignified Albanians and vote for change. Vote on May 11 to fulfill that historic mission that has fallen to your generation, the overthrow of a second dictatorship."
According to Berisha, everyone in this campaign is a missionary and his mission, he says, is not about money or power, but about the future.
"That all of us in this campaign, above all, are missionaries. Each of you, with your vote, are missionaries to save Albania from this ruin, from this terrible decline, from this depopulation and impoverishment. Sali Berisha is a missionary, he is one of you. I took on this mission with the greatest determination, not for power, absolutely, nor for money. But I took on this mission together with you, to have a new future, for those boys and girls who are here, so that they stay here. So that they stay here. They build their Albanian dream in Albania and not export it to other countries. Albania is the most blessed country, it has the greatest wealth, it has the greatest potential, so let us sign the change on May 11th in order to open another time, a time of hope, faith, welfare and employment."
The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a conversation with the residents of Vaqarr, declared that within the first year of government, subsidies for the village and farmers will increase by 5 times.
"Ne vitin e parë jemi këtu, ua jap fjalën që subvencionin për ju do ta ngremë në nivelin e Maqedonisë, Kosovë, Mal i Zi dhe Serbisë, nivel që është 5 herë më i madh se ky sot. Do subvencionojmë çdo fidan që mbillni. Do subvencionojmë çdo lopë, dele, apo dhi. Do subvencionojmë çdo njësi prodhimi që merrni nga toka juaj. Taksa për grumbulluesit merr fund, do jetë simetrike si në shitje dhe blerje, çka do thotë ju do merrni mbrapsht TVSH e shitjes dhe nuk do e marrin grosistët. Do e merrni ju se është e juaja. Është pra një sistem krejt tjetër ky. Për ne nuk ka Shqipëri të zhvilluar pa fshat të zhvilluar. Nuk ka Shqipëri të zhvilluar me fshat të braktisur. Nuk ka tokë më pjellore se sa toka e Shqipërisë, është nga më të mirat që ekziston. Të tjerët e kthejnë shkretëtirën në tokë pjellore. Këta tokën pjellore e kthejnë në shkretëtirë. Kjo është e vërteta".
