At the end of the meeting of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha said that the opposition has unanimously decided to continue the battle in the Assembly. He said that Rama, today, is at war with the Constitution, as he is convinced that the Investigative Commissions will bring out the dirty deeds of his government.
"A prolonged meeting of the parliamentary group and a complete and total determination to continue the battle without return until the full restoration of the constitutional rights of the opposition MPs in the Assembly. "Rama is at war with the Constitution, with the opposition people, kicking the rights of the opposition people, terrified by the abuses of power, he knows that the Investigative Commissions will bring out all the unwashed, and as a result he will hand over the mandate", said Berisha.
He also spoke about the hunger strike, saying that the deputies are ready, but this is not yet in the immediate plans of the opposition.
"They are ready from tomorrow, but the hunger strike and any other act will be taken at the right time", he added.
Beyond their battle in the Assembly, the majority has passed laws in online Commission meetings. For this, Berisha has an answer.
"Any law that goes against the Constitution and the laws of the country will not be recognized by the opposition. You saw how they passed in violation of the law, without meeting the commissions and behind the chairs. The constitution prohibits it except in a state of emergency. If Edi Rama consoles himself and calls this as legal, let him console him", said Berisha. (A2 Televizion)
