Berisha remains "non grata" in the USA: I am not here to discuss the

"I am not here to discuss the past. November 5 answered these. This is an administration that has lost". This is how the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, answered when he was asked by journalists about the statement of the US embassy on the US position on persons non grata.

"This is an administration that has lost. I'm not here to waste time on the past. You should ask me about the future. You asked me about the incoming administration, about the outgoing administration, I don't believe there is anything left that I haven't said before you. I don't want to comment now, let's say, what to say, it was written by Kimi's hand, he even changed it a little. I can't comment on the administration that left," answered Berisha.

Two days ago, through an announcement on social networks, the US embassy's charge d'affaires, Nancy VanHorn, said that the US stands by the position of the persons declared for major corruption, but at the same time requires an inclusive political climate in the parliament.

"I encourage all parties to engage constructively in a political process that is equal for all. We stand by our longstanding position that we do not engage with individuals determined to be involved in major corruption," she said.

The American Embassy chose to deliver its message at the start of the election period, requesting the creation of an equal environment for everyone in the elections. Nancy VanHorn stated that during the last few months she had held several meetings with representatives of the Albanian opposition, evaluating them positively.

This attitude of the American Embassy comes a few days after the British government also refused Sali Berisha the possibility of complaining of the non-woman.
