After returning from Brussels, Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the meeting with the Coordinating Council with the Diaspora, expressed his conviction that the negotiations with the European Union will be concluded by 2027.
"Our joint strategic plan with the European Union to complete negotiations for membership within 2027 and to pave the way for ratifications for Albania's membership in the parliaments of the member countries, has received full support," said Rama, writes A2 .
As for the vote of immigrants, Rama described it as a difficult process, despite the fact that, according to him, it is a closed issue for the Socialist Party.
"The vote of the diaspora is not an easy mission. I want to draw attention to an important change that has taken place in Germany, which has given up the obligation to have single citizenship and has opened the way to dual citizenship. This has until yesterday forced Albanians to give up their Albanian citizenship. Given that there are now many Albanians who want to regain Albanian citizenship, the Foreign Minister must guarantee a quick service", declared Edi Rama.
