Berisha from Korça: Empty cradles, classrooms without students are misery

Sali Berisha stopped in Korça, closing the electoral campaign in the southeast of the country. The Democratic leader, among other things, said that classes without students in schools are misery for every Albanian.

Berisha emphasized that the Democratic Party needs 100 days to sign the country's decisive turning point, as he called it.

"Friends, Korça and wise Korça, never forget a moment. The one who came to power by vote in 2013, he proudly went from one television studio to another with irons in his hand to terrorize his citizens.

He thought that in this way he would dominate them, he would bully them. In this way, he was actually showing the face of his predecessors, who had ordered the hanging of political opponents.

He came to Korça, and he came as a shopkeeper. He thought that here, with his Niko, he could buy a simple citizen of Korça, one of you. He could buy him, because he couldn't stand his criticism, he couldn't stand his free spirit, and he got ready to buy him.

However, the citizen of Korça, to whom I wish a happy birthday today, happened to be one of you, happened to be with your character, with your moral norms, not of his kind, nor of his Pelesh. And his entire campaign was focused in Korça on this man to whom I wish another 120 years, Ilir Vrenozi.

Today, I call on every citizen of Korça, Pogradec, Kolonja, Devoll, on May 11 to unite, because, a house without children, without young people, an empty cradle, classes without students are misery, for every Albanian who calls himself Albanian. Regardless of his beliefs, I say to every citizen of Korça and Albania, that a house without young people, an empty cradle, even if it has gold on the walls, end up in a museum and not in a house with a God. And we, today, are never who we should have been.

Today, we are the people who have abandoned Korça and Albania in 10 years, more than any other nation.

Today, we are the people whose schools no longer have students.

Today, as a nation, we have the lowest fertility rate in the world due to immigration.

So, a siren, a cry emanates from the soul of this nation. For every Korça citizen, for every Albanian, let's save it on May 11. You are hope! Korça has hope, Korça has faith!

You, who filled the squares, brought hope back to Korça, brought hope back to Albania.

We need 100 days, not for my power, never. But we need 100 days to sign together a decisive turning point in this great decline we are experiencing.

We only need 100 days so that our mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers no longer count their bread, but are rewarded, receive a minimum pension, never lower than 200 euros.

Today, 570 thousand have a pension of less than 172 euros.

We need low-wage earners to never receive salaries below 500 euros. So that you no longer pay more than 7 lek per kilowatt for energy.

So that you never buy oil more expensive than Macedonia.

We need 100 days so that you no longer buy counterfeit medicines in your pharmacies, but only medicines that are sold in two EU countries.

We need 100 days, dear people of Korça, so that you, for your children, for yourselves, for your parents, for your elderly, can have the same range of medicines that the Italian Republic has today for its citizens.

We need 100 days so that our hospitals no longer lack any medicine for the seriously ill.

We need 100 days so that you, a small businessman, can buy energy for 18 lek instead of 6 lek.

To buy water at a halved rate. To pay for public land 5 times cheaper. You, the builder, to pay construction taxes 10 times lower, not calculated with the sales price, but with the estimate.

We need 100 days to impose a flat tax of 10%, and every businessman, every employee with a salary over 500 euros, will pay 10%, and 13% will remain for him. His salary will increase by 13%. His income will increase by 13%.

In 100 days, we need to reduce VAT by 15%.

So, to create a completely different space, hope and trust for Korça and Albania among the citizens.

We need 100 days for Korça farmers to have the same subsidies, absolutely the same as Macedonian farmers.

To have the same subsidies as farmers in Kosovo, Serbia and Montenegro.

Receive 5 times more subsidy for each livestock, for each sapling planted. And I guarantee you full seasonal protection of your products.

We need 100 days, Korça and Korça people, regardless of your political beliefs, so that your fashion companies are no longer threatened with bankruptcy due to the narco-euros.

"No, a board that will compensate you, every penny for the fall of the narco-euro, will be established within 100 days, and your workers will receive the salaries they deserve and you the profits you deserve," Berisha said. (A2 Televizion)
