As the electoral campaign for the May 11 elections draws to a close, former leaders of the local branches of the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party in Durrës give their opinions on the way politics is done today and, of course, on the way people are withdrawing from political forces.
For the former head of the local branch of the Socialist Party in Durrës, Leonidha Gjermeni, and the former head of the DP elections, Vaso Papaj, today the two main political forces in the country have an easier time campaigning and attracting people, mainly thanks to technology.

After 12 years in power, the former local leader of the Socialist Party in Durrës is looking at the possibility of a fourth term. While for the former democratic leader, although the opposition has suffered serious cracks and damage in these years, rotation is still necessary for democracy in the country.
