In a hall packed with Democrats, the opposition leader compared the socialist government of Shkodra to an invasion, promising liberation on May 11. He had a message for the mayor of Shkodra, Nenet Becin, once part of his political family.
"But I will say two words to this Benet Brajovic: Benet, you took Bardh Spahiu's mandate with the Brajovici armored cars, but here he is today, proud, proud and with a difference. Citizens of Shkodra, his difference is this: Benet, Bardh Spahiu remained loyal to the citizens of Shkodra, he remained loyal to his lineage, to his father, while you Benet have disgraced us first and last and guarantee that you will not enjoy that mandate."
He calls the governance of Shkodra by the Socialists barbaric rule, so he promises that with the Democratic Party's program after May 11, the capital of the north will be magnificent.
"But this barbaric rule will soon end. The DP and the Alliance for a Greater Albania solemnly pledge before you that in 55 days, this long nightmare will come to an end."
