Leader of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha visited Shkodra today, on the occasion of the April 2 massacre, where 4 people were killed by the communist dictatorship in the 1990s.
During his speech to the media, Berisha said that Shkodra will triumph over invaders and dictatorships, writes A2 CNN.
Berisha also attacked Prime Minister Edi Rama and the mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, whom he said is a representative of criminal groups.
"I see the situation in Shkodra with optimism. Shkodra will always triumph over invaders, over dictators and dictatorships. This time Shkodra will give the most deserved lesson to those who thought... Shkodra is the oldest bastion of conservatism values, of faith in God, in family, in the homeland.
"The citizens of Shkodra will learn very soon what Beci of Dobraç represents. The truth is that there is a terribly serious file on Benet Beci, who is holding Edi Rama hostage. But we are against the politics of hostages," said Berisha, writes A2 CNN. (A2 Televizion)
