"From Gjirokastra to Tropoja, the socialists know Edi Rama as the most treacherous man, who throws out his collaborators one by one, and this is true." This is what Sali Berisha declared at the meeting with political leaders in the regions and heads of the DP branches in Albania. According to the democratic leader, Xafaj's group is the hostile group of the SP list in Tirana.
"Erion Veliaj deserved it, I tell you 100 percent, there is no question about it. He deserved it completely, but to implicate the entire party leadership after he was imprisoned and arrested, to politicize such an act to this extent, this is evidence, it is a characteristic of the extreme left, of the extreme left political forces or the mafia. Now he was arrested, he was on trial, he was dealing with his statuses. Absolutely yes. He was leading Ulsi, they organized trick after trick just to completely dismantle him so that he would not denounce. But of course the socialists have understood that the list he has in Tirana has enemies. The Xhafaj group is a hostile group. Yes, openly. It is a hostile group. Because these are the concepts they follow."
Berisha emphasized that this situation exists in all regions, as according to him, the criminal world is in the race.
"Yes, this situation is everywhere, in all circles. The criminal world is in competition."
Under these conditions, Berisha asked them to raise awareness among citizens about the DP's program.
"Therefore, our mission becomes more and more important every day. Each of us must be clear that victory stems from the awareness of citizens. Our ability to raise awareness of citizens about the program that we present to Albanians is crucial. And I tell you that this is the best program that has ever been drafted for Albanians and for Albania. Victory passes through our organizational power. The organizational power of the campaign, the organizational power of the voting day, of the voting center."
The Democratic leader accused Rama of copying the DP program and called on Albanians to vote for the original on May 11, not the copy.
"In a political electoral suicide, he thought of finding refuge in the DP electoral program, thereby proving that he had no program himself, first. Second, by rejecting what he had declared 3 or 4 months ago, that elements of this program are abysses and catastrophes. Third, he indirectly proved that this program is feasible. Of course, there is no Albanian who does not ask him the question: tell us a little, where were you for 12 years? Who prevented you for 12 years from implementing the primary elements of the compassion package? Who prevented him? No one except himself, his theft, his theft. So, Albanians will give an answer to this question on May 11, the answer will be to vote for the original, not the fraud, not the copy, not the forgery."
