Berisha challenges Rama: Document Agaç's hospitalization, there are

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has challenged Prime Minister Edi Rama to prove that the Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office has not left the country due to SPAK investigations, but for health reasons.

From the blue seat, while taking as an example the Holy See's communications about the health of Pope Francis, Berisha requested that the same thing be done for Engjëll Agaçi.

"Now the history of Engjëll Agaçio, he has been missing for a month, he has disappeared. They do not show either a hospital or a clinic, on the contrary, photographs come from Rome in a cafe. If it were true, it would show the hospital, the clinic," Berisha said.

He again claimed that the US is moving against Edi Rama, adding that an investigation into the use of American funding will be launched very soon, which is why Berisha says the Prime Minister is worried.

"American prosecutors will also come to Tirana. Rama can no longer control them. The truth is that from day to day, this man could be summoned for the crimes he has committed. Therefore, the country is not taking its place," Berisha added.

For SPAK, he shares the same concern as the majority, where he talks about justice standards and control between powers. The democratic leader claimed that the Special Prosecution Office is an institution without control today, so he promises to reform it according to Venice standards.

"This constitutional institution should have control like any other institution. I cannot accept that this institution records the phones of judges where it takes files. This is not right. I understand that there should be an institution that should record phones, but this constitutes an absolute conflict of interest," said the former prime minister.

The opposition leader announced that he will request the Constitutional Court to allow citizens inside the country to vote with expired documents, just like those abroad. Meanwhile, the DP will send a request to the CEC to extend the deadline for emigrant registration, which currently expires on March 4.  (A2 Televizion)
