Prime Minister Edi Rama, in presenting the survey to measure citizen perception on the level of security in the country and trust in the State Police, stated that "security is not an issue that concerns only the police, but a number of institutions."
"The only stable state is one where citizens are equal before the law. Never before has Albania been more mobilized than today to achieve the level of equality before the law, which has been confirmed as an undeniable fact by the opening of negotiations with the EU, which are not a gift or a mere political decision, but rather an observation of the progress made in the first place in increasing the level of equality before the law. On the other hand, it puts us face to face with the challenge of continuously increasing the level of equality that increases the sustainability of individual freedoms and the rule of law. Today I came here because the National Community Safety Council deserves the appreciation that security is not an attribute only of the police but of the municipality, healthcare and the citizens themselves. Starting first and foremost from every parent and even citizens are the basis of security. The Council is a newly created organization, at the end of last year with a special government decision as a structure with objectives and expectations in coordination with local and central government", declared Prime Minister Edi Rama.
